Recently Awarded Scholarships for Wyomissing Area Students & Adult Scholars

On May 15, 2017, WAEF presented $16,200.00 in scholarship awards to Wyomissing students at its Scholarship Celebration hosted at Wyomissing Area High School. The event was attended by 120 guests, including WAEF board members, Wyomissing Area School District board members, Wyomissing Area faculty and administrators, scholarship presenters, family and friends.

Three alumni from the Class of 1959 acknowledged their ongoing support of the scholarship award, the Class of 1959 Memorial Scholarship. This year’s winner, Samer Salha, received the award from Class of 1959 alumnae, Ms. Susan Kline-Hart. Also in attendance, Mrs.Maureen Brumbach (wife of Philip Brumbach) and Mr. David Kozloff.
