EITC DONATIONS

Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)

The Wyomissing Area Education Foundation has a win-win proposition for area businesses.

Support the foundation by providing funding for innovative programs in the Wyomissing Area School District — and receive a 75 to 90 percent credit on state taxes. Even better, we’re here to help you prepare and submit all of the required paper work.

WAEF is proud to be a participating organization in the Commonwealth’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the program awards tax credits to businesses that make contributions to approved scholarship organizations and/or educational improvement organizations.

Businesses can apply for the tax credit program if they are subject to:

  • Bank & Trust Company Shares Tax

  • Capital Stock Franchise Tax

  • Corporate Net Income Tax

  • Insurance Premiums Tax

  • Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax

  • Title Insurance Company Shares Tax

For businesses committing to two consecutive years of support, a 90 percent credit will be awarded. For businesses committing to one year of support, a 75 percent credit will be awarded. For more information, please contact the WAEF. Our most sincere thanks to the following businesses who have supported WAEF through the EITC program:
