The Blue & White party was held on 5/14/2022 at the Neag Planetarium and attended by close to 150 guests.  The evening featured raffles, silent auction, live auction with a professional auctioneer, catering by Russo’s, music by WAHS students Noah Gibney and Olivia Szor, and the recognition of the 2022 Unsung Heroes:  Mary Kelly, Pam Gartner, and Jeff Mazurkiewica.  Proceeds from the event support WAEF and our ability to provide enhanced educational opportunities for students in all three school buildings next year.  Thank you to event chair, Mandy Aulenbach, our entire planning committee, and our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and enthusiastic auction bidders for making the event a success!

The Fire & Ice party is our annual family-friendly fundraiser at Happy Hollow, held on Saturday 5/21 and attended by more than 150 people.  Families enjoyed hot dogs, ice cream, face painting, balloon art, DJ entertainment, raffle of a kids electric Jeep donated by Savage Auto Group, and a visit to Spring Township fire truck, parked close by.  We recognized four elementary teachers for their great work:  Erin Tyrrell, Erika Homan, Regina Hart, and Robin Kline.

Net proceeds from these events exceeded $63,000!

THANK YOU to all of the sponsors, donors, volunteers, planning committee members, and guests of these events, all of whom ensured the success of our spring fundraising events.  We look forward to gathering and celebrating in the Spring of 2023!
