WAEF is excited to introduce Stephanie Herbein as the new Executive Director as of September 2024!

Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Education from Alvernia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Albright College. She is a graduate of Leadership Tri-County and has a certificate of completion from The New York University Publishing Institute. She has taught all ages from the preschool to college level. Stephanie has both professional and volunteer experience in leadership, fundraising, event planning, development, marketing and grant writing. Stephanie resides in Wyomissing with her two children, Charlotte and Leo. Since moving to the district in 2009, she has been an active community member and school volunteer. Stephanie was a daily volunteer at Wyomissing Hills Elementary, active in the PTA in many roles from homeroom mom to chairing the fifth grade sleepover and later as a substitute teacher at WHEC, WREC and WJSHS. Stephanie also serves as a Wyomissing Girl Scout leader. Stephanie’s background, experience and passion for our schools and our community will lead our foundation to further support excellence in education and maximize the potential of every student in the Wyomissing Area School District.
